FAQ

What does it mean when my parts are on backorder?
Although we regularly receive updates about unavailable parts with older vehicles, occasionally, parts may be able to be added to your shopping cart that are discontinued and no longer in production. We will notify you if this is the case or you can email or call us to be sure before you make your purchase.

How are parts on backorder filled?

When you, and in return we the merchant, place an order for a back ordered parts with the manufacturer, we are added to a que with all other retailers and dealers waiting on that back ordered part. When these parts come back into stock from production, the supply is shipped out to everyone on the list starting from the top working down till they are out of supply or persons and merchants waiting for the back ordered part. You can read more here on our blog

What is a superseded part?
These are parts that have made another part obsolete and are the current offering from the manufacturer as a replacement. This is often done with parts proven to be defective or faulty over time such as certain make and model stators and fuel pumps, replacing them with an updated version. This is a good thing! If you place an order for a part that is discovered to be superseded by another, we will notify you.

My order was refunded but I do not see the money in my bank yet, why?
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method as it was received. This process usually takes banks about 3 business days for refunds to be processed following receipt of your return.

If the fiche says the part requires [X] number of the item, does that mean order that part I will get the required amount?
No. It is merely designating how many you need not how many you need. If for example you see “required 3” it is indicating that on this page, there are 3 of these required for this complete assembly

This varies with manufacturers and is not available on the public facing parts fiche. If you use the customer notes in the checkout process to indicate the color you are wanting to get, the year, the make, and the model of the machine, our salesmen will take care of it or contact you if they need any more information. PLEASE NOTE: If your machine is a Honda, please include the color code found on the machine. Or, you can also call or email us

Can you recommend a [tire, wheel, etc]
Due to various factors like the style of riding you do, the type of motorcycle, your local weather conditions, your experience level, and etc., it is very difficult for us to confidently recommend what tire is best for you. We suggest looking for specific forums for your particular motorcycle and riding style such as gixxer.com for suzuki gsx-r owners.
